Haris Khan completed his Undergraduate education in Architecture in 2008, at the National College of Arts in Lahore, Pakistan, where his undergraduate thesis envisioned futuristic industrialized development situated in the heart of Lahore's historic and densely urbanized Upper Mall. Following his graduation, Khan worked as an Architect, Project Manager and Lead Architect at various architecture and engineering firms, bringing his unique perspective and design sensibilities to residential projects and large-scale institutional buildings and governmental compounds.

Khan completed his Masters in Architecture in 2013 from the University of Applied Arts in Vienna, Die Angewandte, where he graduated at the top of his class and was honored with a distinction. During the course of his graduate education, his studies focused on urban design, incorporating elements of urban planning, contemporary architectural theory and narrative driven architecture in his hyper-industrial take on architectural solutions to highly urbanized and densely populated environments.

Following his education in Vienna, Khan moved back to Pakistan in 2014 where he worked as a consultant on various projects until he started his own practice by the name of HK Architects. During this time, he simultaneously engaged in entrepreneurial ventures, personally undertaking the design, construction, and sale of houses. He single-handedly managed every aspect, from site selection and design to construction. Additionally, he continued to work with clients and serve as a consultant for other projects, further broadening his professional experience and expertise.
